Captain Dennis Kelly

Captain Dennis comes from several generations of outdoorsmen and fishermen on both sides of his family, and just as his ancestors before him, he grew up offshore fishing & surfing. One of his prized possessions is a photo of his great-grandfather standing next to a hanging Sailfish at Pompano Beach Marina, dated 1943. Family from his mother’s side, who are from Sweden, had a cabin in the town of Tångböle. Dennis spent many some summers fly fishing for trout or lake fishing with his grandfather.

He grew up in Florida, spending his early years living in Pompano Beach, and fishing off of the Hillsboro inlet. Favoring trolling for fish, this is when he learned the art of rigging baits and working a spread.

Once he got his driver’s license, he would pull his 17ft Anacapree Center Console, handed down to him by his father, everywhere from Fort Pierce to South Florida. After the age of 20, he would jump on any boat he could to fish. He freelanced mating and captaining utilizing every opportunity to feed his fishing addiction. Everywhere he goes, there’s a rod in hand.

When not offshore fishing, he enjoys surfing, Peacock Bass fishing, inshore fishing (any kind of fishing) and being a dad to his son Owen. He’s blessed with a partner, Mandy, who shares his fishing passion.

Mate Charlie Magee

Mate Charlie is a true Floridian, born and raised in Palm City and on the water. At the age of 5, Charlie’s father bought a 19’ Carolina Skiff, that’s when his adventure’s traveling the state to fish began. Trips the most memorable where those spent camping & fishing for Tarpon, down in Everglade City.

After graduating high school, he decided to fish full-time, commercially. Primarily focused on King Mackerel and Swordfish. His favorite type of fishing is for Swordfish and bottom fishing.

On his time off he enjoys surfing, hunting and creating adventures with his wife and three sons. He and his family enjoy many outdoor adventures.
